A gift card for you, whether you're turning 1 or 82.
We had the chance to team up with the Target Creative Team to design a spiffy new cover for their Birthday Gift Card. They asked us to create a 3D Design that was clear at a small size, while leaving room for the Target logo. How much more fun could it be?
Ideation
We began our project with Sketches that served as a map for composition, logo placement, and shape language. This helped our client understand where our noggins were before diving too deep into finished designs.
Shape Language
Early on, we made shape language and expression sheets that we shared with the client. This made trying possible combinations super easy for our creative team.
Color
It's no surprise that Target's brand is predominately Red. We wanted to push our pallete past one uniform color, especially when we thought about context when customers are walking by.
