The Enneagram
About
The Enneagram is a system of personality typing that describes patterns in how people interpret the world and manage their emotions. The Enneagram describes nine different personality types and maps each of these types on a nine-pointed diagram which helps to illustrate how the types relate to one another. We came up with a way to visualize each of the 9 types in a unique and minimal way.

The Problem
How can we visualize 9 unique personalities and their traits cohesively? Our Solution was to visualize each personality as a circle. This decision allowed us to stay neutral in appearance, but strong in meaning. Each personality type has its own color palette, linking the set to be a rainbow of personalities.
Style
This cel-shaded technique with harsh shadows felt elevated, and clean, and reminded us of the DSM-5. Working in 3D allowed us to use perspective, camera movement, and more to help visualize each personality.
